I also added that 50 isn’t fatal and cited a quote that Maya Angelou once told Oprah - “50 is when you become the person you were always meant that to be.”. <br /><br />I took that quote to mean that by the time we turn 50 we should be able to throw caution to the wind and live an unencumbered life; a life where what others think should be of no relevance to you as long as no harm is done to others and you are living your own truth.<br /><br />Now that we are sexagenarians (or in my case soon to be) we should indeed be the “person you were created to be.”<br /><br />Happy 85th Ail - and, God willing, many more!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10821710723292852813noreply@blogger.com
